(English) Pornpipat “Paul” Kasemsap — Raised in a concrete jungle of Bangkok, Thailand by a nature loving family who planted a seed of inspiration in his heart, Paul grew up determined to help optimize the food system, so that we all can continue to enjoy tasty, healthy food with minimal impacts on the environments. Through a journey to learn about food across the globes in Thailand, the Netherlands, and California, USA, Paul have teamed up with passionate plant breeders, crop physiologists, and geneticists, on a quest to sustain productivity and nutritional qualities of our food crops under the climate conditions anticipated in coming decades. Beyond the research lab, Paul engages in teaching about plants and climate change, promoting global education and mastering effective communication. He has been deeply immersed in local communities through volunteering with a food bank, advocating on affordable housing with a grass-root organization, and coaching for a local running team of atheletes with autistic spectrum disorders. During weekends, Paul enjoys visiting local farmers markets, long distance running, and reading in the sun with his plants (and previously chickens!).

(ไทย) พรพิพัฒน์ “พร” เกษมทรัพย์ — ขณะที่โตขึ้นในป่าคอนกรีตของกรุงเทพมหานคร ครอบครัวคนรักต้นไม้ของพรได้ปลูกแรงบันดาลใจ ให้พรอยากปลูกต้นไม้ และกินอาหารอร่อย ๆ ไปพร้อม ๆ กัน พรจีงมุ่งมั่นที่จะทำงานเพื่อพัฒนาระบบการผลิตอาหารที่จะช่วยหล่อเลี้ยงประชากรโลกของเราให้อิ่ม อร่อย และอุดมไปด้วยคุณค่าทางอาหารโดยไม่ทำลายสิ่งแวดล้อม ผ่านการเดินทางเพื่อศึกษาเกี่ยวกับอาหารรอบโลก จากประเทศไทย สู่เนเธอร์แลนด์ และสหรัฐอเมริกา พรได้เรียนรู้และร่วมมือกับนักปรับปรุงพันธุ์พืช นักสรีรวิทยา และนักพันธุกรรม พัฒนาผลผลิตและคุณภาพพืชอาหารให้พร้อมรับมือกับสภาพภูมิอากาศเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลกเราในทศวรรษอันใกล้นี้ นอกจากงานวิจัย พรยังสอนเกี่ยวกับการปลูกต้นไม้ และการลดผลกระทบของสภาพภูมิอากาศเปลี่ยนแปลงในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย รวมถึงทำงานพัฒนาการศึกษาความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม เพื่อให้ชุมชนโลกได้เรียนรู้ และสื่อสารกันอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น พรรักการมีส่วนร่วมกับชุมชนท้องถิ่น ผ่านการอาสาสมัครช่วยงานธนาคารอาหาร เรียกร้องสิทธิบ้านพักอาศัยกับองค์กรรากหญ้าที่ได้ร่วมก่อตั้ง และช่วยฝึกซ้อมทีมนักวิ่งออทิสติก ช่วงวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ จะพบพรได้ที่ตลาดนัด หรือขณะวิ่งชมบ้านชมเมือง …หรือขณะนั่งตากแดดอ่านหนังสืออยู่ที่บ้าน กับบรรดาต้นไม้ใบหญ้า ซึ่งแทบจะกินพื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่ในบ้านไปเสียแล้ว
